Steve Allen joined Team Roadkill at several events during the 2006 season and has continued to race in the 2007 season. Steve drives his manual transmission equipped 2004 Ranger pickup in the Club Clash Hot Rod class, and has claimed several round wins. The truck is Steve's daily transportation and is completely unmodified. Consistency, not speed, is king at a bracket race so there are no plans to make major modifications to the truck. A wheel and tire change is the only modification in the works for the little pickup truck.
