Dan Montana races this award winning 1964 Ford Galaxie in the Club Clash series Hot Rod class. Building this car was a multi-year frame off restoration project that resulted in one of the nicest Galaxies around. The Galaxie has collected numerous show awards including a best in class trophy at a national Galaxie club meet. This naturally aspirated, all motor, 4300 pound car rolls down the track in the mid 15 second range, and is regularly street driven.

The Galaxie features a 428 CID engine outfitted with a custom solid lifter camshaft, 750 Holley carburator, and Mallory ignition system. The C-6 transmission and a 2TON racing rear differential with 4.11:1 gears makes sure the power gets to the ground. All of the vehicle mechanical systems were rebuilt, renewed, or modified during the restoration process The result is a quick, consistent bracket car that is a lot of fun to drive. Plans for the Galaxie include the addition of Edelbrock cylinder heads and a change in the intake manifold.
